Mr. Sonin concentrates his practice in business succession, estate, and tax planning. He also counsels business owners and entrepreneurs on entity formation and governance issues, buy-sell agreements, contractual relationships, sales and acquisitions, and real estate matters. He previously worked for a boutique law firm in Center City Philadelphia representing companies in tax controversies nationwide.
Mr. Sonin graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in International Studies and Russian from Dickinson College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and studied a semester each in Russia and Germany. After college, he returned to Germany to teach English on a Fulbright grant. He received his J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law and an M.A. in International Affairs from its School of International Service.
