Harry C.J. Himes has been practicing law for over 40 years, guiding his clients in preserving and protecting their individual and family wealth. He primarily concentrates his practice in the areas of trust, estate planning, and administration, and works closely with high-net-worth, multi-generational families and business owners, successfully managing their estate plans.

Before joining Semanoff Ormsby Greenberg & Torchia, LLC, Harry was president and shareholder of the Himes Firm, located in Abington, PA. Throughout his career, Harry has advised his clients on matters related to business transactions, sports and entertainment law. His practice has also included the representation of NFL players, coaches, front office, and executive management in the negotiation of contracts. Additionally, Harry has counseled physicians and physicians’ practices in the negotiation of employment agreements, real estate transactions and lease agreements.

Harry graduated from La Salle University where he received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government.  Upon graduation, he was awarded a full academic scholarship to Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where he earned his J.D., cum laude in 1968.  During his time in law school, he was an editor for the Villanova Law Review, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He enjoys an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell; has been recognized as a Preeminent Lawyer in the fields of Estate, Probate, Real Estate and Entertainment law for 25 years. He has served as a federal arbitrator and mediator for the Eastern Federal District Court of Pennsylvania.

An active member of his community, Harry has served as a former Board Member and Past President of the United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia. He is also a former Board Member of the LaSalle College High School Board of Trustees. He has lectured on topics including sports law, sports marketing, and business law at Holy Family University in Philadelphia, PA.

Harry resides in Meadowbrook, PA with his wife, Margaret, and has five children and eleven grandchildren.
